Camera geekery aplenty. The whole week was one big photowalk with the odd break in between for cupcakes and shopping. The recent wave of people booking long weekends in New York for Christmas (there, I said it) shopping spurred me on to process another of these. Now I just have to get around to the other few hundred.
So yeah, long story short while we were in New York I cracked and bought a Diana. Then I bought 10 rolls of Velvia. I didn’t use all ten thankfully, but I did nearly get through half of it. Instead of shooting one roll, seeing how it came out (I was initially quite skeptical about the whole Diana thing) I decided to go hell for leather. Win. Developed them tonight and this one (and a few more) have jumped to the front of the now even longer scanning queue. Expect more, when I do eventually go into madcap scanning mode and get through a few rolls.
Back to the past; 1st October 2005. Taken for the Ray Darcy/TodayFM project “Us”. The book was published with photos contributed from listeners to the show and money went to charity. Hurrah. Also, I, along with other talented photobloggers, have several photos published in it. Hurrah! Finding all these old photos as I’m packing up my computer gear in preparation for the weekend.
