Although the first set of photos I took with my new Fuji-X to FD mount adaptor haven’t made it here yet, here is the second set, taken with the FD 50 f1.8 during a short walk around Crosshaven.
Because I got a sudden attack of nostalgia for black & white (and because I haven’t shot anything in B&W for B&W in a long, long time) these were taken in the Acros profile baked into the Fuji X-T3 with the electronic viewfinder also helpfully set to Acros. Very handy to be able to do that.
The lens isn’t exactly what you’d call pin sharp and focus peaking in the viewfinder can only help so much to get it in the ballpark of ‘in focus’. But I guess that’s not really the point now, is it? I can definitely see myself shooting more in this Acros profile, if only to feed the nostalgia some more.
scary onlookers won’t help, not even in b&w
