The Long Grass
Another from the Sally Gap, as if you haven\’t had enough already. Nothing too ‘Saint Patricksy’ for today, mostly because going into the other room and plugging in the external drive seems like too much work. Yes, I’m that lazy.

Sally Gap, last weekend. One of the first spots where you can pull the car over and look out over the hills. Until of course some tourists in a rental car trying to park behind you almost break both your legs. Nice day overall though.
Take away the bugs, toads, give her a pair of wellies and I’m sure she’d be right at home.
I’m always looking for new ways to photograph the glass roof of the greenhouses at the Botanic Gardens. I usually come home with more photos of the bloody roof than I do of the plants. Imagine, going to a botanic garden to take photos of plants?!? Madness!
Takeoff from the high wall of the vine border and off to the branches of a nearby tree.
We met this cheery little fella up at Bective Abbey on Sunday morning. He trotted down the road to meet us, followed along by our side for a while then went on his merry way up a grassy lane.
The morning after the night in Brogans and the 9:30am Sunday breakfast. Bective Abbey, near Trim. Only a few braved the hangovers. More importantly though, breakfast at 9:30am on a Sunday? That’s inhumane!!
The cemetery at Newtown in Trim where you can be cured of your wartyness. Simply bring a safety pin and deposit at the grave of Sir Lucas Dillion and his wife. I didn’t bring a pin so I can’t test the theory.
Colin Harmon of 3FE next to one of his cappuccino creations. Yes, I know it seemed that yesterdays 3FE photo was going to be it for a while but no, when I looked at this one I just wanted to post it. Sometimes the light that’s available to you just works. This was one of those times. Now, to print some of these shots!
After posting shots from the official opening day of Third Floor Espresso a few days back, Colin expressed an interested in getting a few more done. Just sometimes, this whole photography lark pays dividends! Incidentally, I now realise this is how I wish to spend all my future lunchtimes. Shooting and drinking amazing coffee. Niche in the market?
The Transport Museum in Glasgow. Great spot, lots of lovely old bikes! Well, a few old cars too, as you can see here.
At the official opening of Third Floor Espresso (3FE) on Middle Abbey Street a couple of hours ago. If you’re reading this and you’re local, get down there for some mind bendingly amazing coffee. This is one of the several cappuccinos I’ve had there this weekend.
An all too unsure if I should be there or not walk around the prep area before an evening of stock car racing in Cowdenbeath. You may have guessed, due to the decor in the photo, that Cowdenbeath is in Scotland. That is all.
And in Fotaaaaa! Fota Wildlife Park of course. Thought these chaps looked a bit more striking in black & white. While you’re in a link clicking mood, nominations for the Blog Awards have started over at Blog Awards HQ. Head on over and spare a thought for your favorite blogger.
